Fortress Architectural Systems LLP is a long established company and one of the North East's leading fabricators based in a custom built 30,000Sqft factory in Seaham. Fortress can offer precision bespoke framing due to its state of the art machinery and highly trained fabrication work force.

Following a detailed strategic plan, the controlled growth has developed hand in hand with investment in people and machinery with over a quarter of a million pound being spent over the last two years.

Run by the two partners Mr Neville Rodgers & Mr Ian Hutchinson, Fortress offers a wealth of knowledge with over 40 years combined experience in both the Aluminium and Glass industries. Both partners have embraced the philosophy of partnering with both suppliers and customers which has resulted in better buying power and repeat orders drawn from both the public and private sector.

Working closely with Blue Chip Companies Fortress have value engineered numerous large projects and with our vast expanse of product knowledge we have successfully globally resourced material without compromising either quality or procurement periods.

Fortress currently turn over around £4.5m per annum whilst enabling them to provide a somewhat personal service to all our customers assisting with the design development at early stages of the project , right through to the installation and final hand over of the building . Employing a 30+ staff we can ensure that each project is allocated with a dedicated Designer, Contracts Co-ordinator, Buyer, Contracts Manager and on site Supervisor ensuring that the projects are completed not only on time but safely, to cost and more importantly: to the customers requirements .

Fortress have also adopted the CSCS registration as covered by all the major construction companies and in conjunction with our appointed H&S consultants Northern County Safety, Fortress strive to work in a Safe environment both on site and also in the fabrication shop. Fortress are delighted to be able to document no three day or reportable accidents have occurred over the last 3 years and via continuous training and pro-active H & S management we will continue to offer a safe working environment for all its staff.
