Fortress has this week opened their new training room to provide product, fabrication and installation training to all of their operatives.
The newly refurbished room offers training for up to 10 people for fabrication and 8 people for the installation training, with 2 no bespoke rigs set up to allow the installation teams to be trained on all critical interface details .
The first to use the facilities were Fortress's own fabricators and we have over the past 5 days successfully completed the full fabrication training on "Reynaers” system.
Peter Wouters, the Reynaers head training officer was flown in from Belgium to carry out the training and commented “ the level of skill shown by all the fabricators surpassed any previous training days” Peter was delighted with all the fabricators and following the 5 days of intensive training handed out certificates to all the operatives .
“our commitment to training has taken a large step Forward “ quoted Steve Bolton Fortress's Fabrication Manager and with future days already organised for the further training and development with the Schuco and Technal systems , Fortress will be able to offer the main contractors a fully trained work force in all elements of our work .
